Herbed Grilled Chicken Tortillas
Ingredients
Herbed Grilled Chicken Tortillas
- 3 skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp cooking oil (your preference)
- 2 tbsp A.Vogel Herbed Sea Salt
- 1 small onion
- 6 tomatillos
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 bunch of cilantro
- 3 Serrano peppers
- A.Vogel Spicy Sea Salt (to taste)
- 20 small tortillas (your preference)
How to Make Herbed Grilled Chicken Tortillas
1. Flatten chicken breast with a meat mallet for even cooking.
2. Season the chicken breast with A.Vogel Herbed Sea Salt at least 30 minutes before cooking.
3.Cook the chicken breasts in a pan with 2 tbsp of cooking oil, rotating every minute on medium heat until they hit an internal temperature. Let the chicken rest for 1 minute before slicing, this keeps the chicken nice and juicy.
4. Slice the chicken into strips once it has rested. Place the chicken strips onto the tortillas. Top it off with fresh chopped onion (1/2 of a small onion) and cilantro. Then add a nice spoonful of the tomatillo salsa. (directions below)
Tomatillo Salsa
1.Place the tomatillos, garlic, 1/2 small onion, and serrano peppers in a pan with 1/2 tsp cooking oil.
2.Once the vegetables are nice and roasted put them in a blender with 1/4 cup of water. Blend the ingredients and place them into a bowl.
3.Add chopped cilantro and A. Vogel Spicy Sea Salt to taste.
4 Finally spoon the salsa on top of your tortillas.
