• Baked Feta Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes and A. Vogel Herbed Sea Salt

    Serves: 4

    Instructions:

     

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

    2. In a medium baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and A. Vogel Herbed Sea Salt. Toss to coat evenly.

    3. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the baking dish. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch more A. Vogel Herbed Sea Salt.

    4. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes burst and the feta is golden and soft.

    5. While the dish is baking, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.

    6. Once the feta and tomatoes are done, use a spoon to mash and mix them together into a creamy sauce.

    7. Add cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss to combine. Add a bit of reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

    8. Stir in fresh basil and season to taste with more A. Vogel Herbed Sea Salt, if needed.

    9. Serve warm and garnish with extra basil or chili flakes, if desired.

    • 2 pints cherry tomatoes
    • 1 block (7 oz) feta cheese
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tsp A. Vogel Herbed Sea Salt (plus more to taste)
    • 10 oz pasta (penne or fusilli work well)
    • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
    • Optional: chili flakes for heat
